TecTip #169

Windows Hidden "God Mode"
Windows has a hidden centralized Control Panel for all of the operating settings within the system, which allows for users to customize everything from the desktop background to the security detail. To access this mode, create a new folder with this exact name: God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. The folder icon will change to a Control Panel-style icon, and you will be able to tweak all kinds of settings. Do not try this on Windows Vista 64-bit because it is known to cause a reboot loop.
